Astraea, A Wellness Spa is looking for dynamic, wellness enthusiasts for our Wellness Coordinator positions. Astraea spa is located in the Longfellow hotel,  a 48-room luxury boutique hotel, Opening May 17, 2024, The Longfellow Hotel is already gaining recognition as one of the most highly anticipated openings in the US.

Our Spa team will maintain the standards and cleanliness of Spa, massage rooms, and saunas, while providing attentive, courteous, and efficient service to our guests.  Additionally, this position will help foster the culture of The Longfellow Hotel throughout the Portland business community and will require a sense of playfulness to help rethink luxury accommodations. 

This is a great opportunity to join a small and growing company. This role reports directly to the Spa Manager. Full-time and part-time positions available.  Located in Portland, Maine. 

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Welcome and checks in all guests.
  • Answer phone, email, and texts.
  • Assist boutique guests with products and sales.
  • Keep the Spa clean and beautiful at all times
  • Maintain and execute quality guest experience
  • Confirms all necessary paperwork is received and accurate prior to check in.
  • Maintains accurate schedule for appointments and bookings
  • Maintains accurate guest accounts
  • Excellent communicator and team player
  • Escort guests to the relaxation lounge.
  • Assist guests in setting them up in our meditation loungers and greet them afterward with tea.
  • Assist guests to and from the sauna rooms.
  • Maintain cleanliness of sauna rooms, bathrooms, tea counter, etc.
  • Assists in massage room changeovers between guests.
  • Keeps lounge clean and stocked.

Must be available to work at least one weekend shift

Pay Rate: $19/hourly

While this job is based in Portland Maine, from time to time, you will be expected to travel to venues and events outside of the Portland area, as the business demands.
