Job Summary:
This position will report into Client Accounting & Advisory Services (CAAS). Experience in QuickBooks and Excel is required for consistently ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. As an experienced Payroll and Bookkeeper, the successful candidates will have a strong background in payroll processing, to assist our outsourced clients along with other routine processing, tax payments and payroll tax return preparation and filings as necessary. Client Accounting and Advisory Services Department serves approximately two-hundred businesses providing outsourced CFO functions, payroll, full-service bookkeeping, financial statement preparation, vendor bill processing and payment, revenue invoicing, and various accounting analysis as requested.
Requirements:
- Accountable for understanding the importance and follow through submitting payroll transactions with accuracy, correcting errors and excellent follow through
- A/P - Responsible for timely, efficient processing and accurate payment of vendor invoices, researching and resolving problem invoices
- A/R - Entering invoices, applying payments to appropriate accounts, reconciling customer accounts, and handling customer inquiries
- Banking - Perform monthly bank reconciliation
- Prepare Financial Statements: Balance Sheet, Income Statement on a monthly basis
- Assist with Financial Reporting
- Assist with payroll functions, including routine processing, tax payments and payroll tax return preparation and filings as necessary
Qualifications:
- 2+ Years of payroll and bookkeeping experience
- Associates Degree in related field or equivalent work experience preferred
- Solid experience with QuickBooks, working within and utilizing for payroll
- Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and ability to learn new programs
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work with others
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Able to manage priorities and workflow
Salary: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00
