Position Overview

Equipment setup / delivery drivers are responsible for assembling TCE equipment and delivering products and equipment to our customers.


What You’ll Do

· Load and unload products and equipment for delivery

· Setup equipment according to manufacture specifications

· Ensure every customer interaction is marked by promptness, professionalism, and precision

· Endure timely delivery and/or pickup of products and/or equipment to and from customer facility or job site

· Operate vehicles in accordance with local, state, and federal transportation regulations

· Maintain vehicles by conducting daily inspections for maintenance needs, licensing and registration expirations and reporting any deficiencies to the management

· Assist with warehouse duties, stocking inventory in the warehouse and in the showroom, maintaining the yard while not driving

· Establish a solid understanding of products and equipment sold at STI

· Work with our field sales team and other internal associates to enhance customer satisfaction and to facilitate a team atmosphere


Skills We Are Seeking

· Minimum of 2 years of non-commercial driving

· Experience in driving a non-commercial truck/trailer combo is preferred but not required

· Experience assembling landscape equipment is plus

· Ability to read, understand and follow written instructions

· A proven aptitude for delivering top-notch customer service experiences

· A keenness to learn, adapt, and implement new technologies and mythologies

· Capable of routinely handling items weighing up to 75 pounds

· Ability to pass and maintain hiring standards for non-commercial drivers (background, MVR, drug testing, insurance standards)

· High school diploma or its equivalent is required
