Job Description: Semi Truck Body Repair Technician Helper

Position Overview:
We are searching for a reliable, enthusiastic, and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Semi Truck Body Repair Technician Helper. In this role, you will support our skilled technicians in the repair and maintenance of semi-truck bodies for our valued clients. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting with disassembling damaged areas, repairing and replacing parts, and ensuring the overall quality of the repair work. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the automotive repair industry while working in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:
- Assist senior technicians in dismantling damaged parts of semi-truck bodies to assess the extent of repairs needed.
- Learn how to use various tools and equipment, such as wrenches, hammers, cutters, welding machines, etc., under the guidance of experienced technicians.
- Assist with repairing and replacing damaged parts, such as doors, fenders, hoods, roofs, lights, etc.
- Support painters by preparing surfaces for painting and applying protective coatings when required.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored at the end of each day.
- Contribute to maintaining an accurate inventory of materials and tools, reporting any shortages or damages to management.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance your skills and knowledge of semi-truck body repair techniques.
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve goals and meet project deadlines.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude when dealing with clients, colleagues, and vendors.

Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in automotive repair is preferred.
- Previous experience or knowledge of automotive repair is beneficial, but not essential.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with an interest in learning new skills.
- Ability to follow instructions closely and work as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity.
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods of time.
- Willingness to work overtime and flexible hours when required.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Good communication skills to effectively interact with team members and clients.
