What will I do in this role with Judson?

• Ensures all items presented are cleaned thoroughly and appropriately.
• Handles dishes, glassware, and flatware with care.
• Maintains high sanitation of work area; applies serve-safe standards.
• Review daily menu, specials, and spreadsheets.
• Demonstrate knowledge of specialized diets and allergens
• Communicate with production team to ensure orders are delivered correctly and special requests are accommodated.
• Remains flexible and patient when communicating with residents, guests and associates.
• Identify and gather food items needed for meal service.
• Prepare, portion & serve food items according to menu, utilizing spreadsheets as appropriate for therapeutic &/or consistency modified diets
• Perform a variety of tasks, including general sanitation procedures, ensure proper food storage (including prepping, serving daily hot & cold food for breakfast, lunch and dinner as assigned.
• Reset all tables and replenish table supplies in dining rooms.
• Perform daily, weekly and monthly cleaning projects as assigned.
• Use HACCP food handling procedures during preparation, cooking, serving, and storing food.
• Assist in keeping coolers, freezers, and storage areas cleaned and organized.
• Sweep & mop floor as assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or GED
