Job Summary:

As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the kitchen. You will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes according to our standardized recipes and maintaining a clean and organized workstation. Key Responsibilities:

1. Food Preparation:
   
   
   • Execute recipes accurately and efficiently to meet quality standards.
     
   • Prepare and portion ingredients as per the recipe specifications.
     
   • Ensure all food products are handled, stored, and prepared safely.
     
2. Cooking and Assembly:
   
   
   • Cook and plate dishes according to established procedures.
     
   • Monitor and adjust cooking times and temperatures to ensure food quality.
     
   • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to coordinate the timing of dishes.
     
3. Quality Control:
   
   
   • Conduct regular quality checks on ingredients and finished dishes.
     
   • Maintain high standards of food presentation and flavor.
     
4. Cleanliness and Organization:
   
   
   • Keep workstations, equipment, and utensils clean and sanitized.
     
   • Follow proper food handling and safety guidelines.
     
   • Assist in the overall cleanliness of the kitchen.
     
5. Team Collaboration:
   
   
   • Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure a smooth operation.
     
   • Communicate effectively with colleagues and superiors.
     
6. Adherence to Standards:

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Line Cook or relevant culinary position.
  
• Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines.
  
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
  
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
  
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects.
  
• Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus.

Afternoon shift 3:00pm to 11:00pm
