Prep Cook

Manny's Parkside is looking for a dedicated team member to join our team in the position of Prep Cook. This position is part-time for first (day) and second (afternoon) shift. This position will be responsible for preparing cooking ingredients. 

Position Summary:
The Prep Cook is responsible for preparing cooking ingredients by washing and chopping vegetables, cutting meat, etc. This position is responsible for undertaking basic cooking duties such as reducing sauces, parboiling food, etc. The Prep Cook prepares simple dishes such as salads, entrees, etc. This position is responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and taking out trash.

Job Requirements:

• Experience working as a prep cook or in a similar capacity. 
• Great communication skills.
• Good at working under pressure,
• Good team attitude.
• Ability to read and follow prep list.
• Proficient knife-handling skills.
• Available to work flexible shifts.
