This position is ideal for individuals committed to working with clients recovering from alcohol and/or illicit substance use disorder.  Candidate may include individuals entering or exiting the fields of social work, psychology, law enforcement, or peer recovery.

Job Description:

• Monitoring client behavior
• Preventing and de-escalating high intensity situations
• Completing personal body searches
• Searching client luggage and rooms
• Conducting and monitoring random urine screens for clients
• Coordinating transportation to and from pick up locations

Education/Skills:

• High School diploma/GED
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to be flexible and work as part of a team
• Ability to reason and problem solve
• Complete documentation as required by policies and procedures
• Physically able to stand, walk, climb stairs over prolonged periods and able to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
• CPR/ First Aid training preferred
• Trauma informed care training preferred
• Emergency response training preferred
