Barista

As a Barista, your primary responsibility is to provide excellent customer service by preparing and serving high-quality beverages, such as coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized workspace, as well as following food safety and cleanliness guidelines. In addition, you will be expected to interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, take customer orders, handle cash transactions, and ensure that all orders are prepared accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and specialty drinks according to established recipes and standards.
2. Take customer orders and process transactions accurately.
3. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee shop, including the preparation and serving areas, equipment, and dining areas.
4. Follow food safety guidelines and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
5. Interact with customers in a friendly and welcoming manner, responding to inquiries and providing recommendations as needed.
6. Assist in restocking supplies, such as cups, lids, condiments, and ingredients.
7. Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and report any issues to management.
8. Attend training sessions and staff meetings as required.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a customer service or food service role is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and a focus on quality.
• Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and equipment is a plus.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
