Associate Pastor of Children & Student Ministries

Calvary Baptist Bedford is a growing local church family in Bedford, VA, situated against the scenic Blue Ridge Mountains. We help people know Christ through discipleship, making Christ known to others through evangelism, and serving Christ through ministry.

We seek an enthusiastic and committed Associate Pastor of Children & Student Ministries to join our growing church family. The Associate Pastor will lead students and adults in developing and improving their relationship with Christ. The ideal candidate will have theological education, pastoral experience, excellent communication skills, and a profound personal faith.

The position requires someone to lead the Student Ministry by working with the pastoral staff, church leadership, Ministry Team volunteers, and children and students - from Nursery through High School. The role involves overseeing the spiritual development of children and students by creating a fun, inviting, and dynamic environment to build relationships with Christ and others while growing in their faith. Additionally, the position involves working with each student's family to help them succeed in their relationship with Christ and encourage personal growth through discipleship.
