Position: General Electrical Foreman (Full Time)
Location: Houston, TX
Our nationally recognized company, based in Houston, TX, is a leading full-service EPC and specialty engineering organization specializing in complex medium and high voltage electrical infrastructure projects throughout North America. We are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated individual for the position of General Electrical Foreman.
Electrical Foreman Job Summary:
As a General Electrical Foreman, you will play a key role in managing and coordinating daily operations on assigned projects. From hiring and developing crews to ensuring project completion within established timelines, your responsibilities will encompass various facets of electrical construction.
Electrical Foreman Responsibilities:
- Lead the hiring, development, and training of crews, fostering a positive and skilled workforce.
- Collaborate with project managers to organize daily work activities, ensuring optimal sequencing and efficiency.
- Directly supervise and coordinate operations for a team of 6-8 skilled and non-skilled employees.
- Review and enforce compliance with safety policies, company rules, and project specifications.
- Conduct regular quality checks on work performed by both company crews and subcontractors.
- Oversee project equipment utilization and maintenance, coordinating needs with project managers.
- Prepare and submit accurate daily progress reports, time sheets, and safety documentation.
- Collaborate with onsite customer representatives, addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction.
- Provide mentorship and job site orientations for new crew members.
General Electrical Foreman Requirements:
- High school diploma or general education degree.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry.
- Minimum of 2 years as a Project Foreman or Superintendent.
- Familiarity with construction industry equipment, materials, and methods.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to read and understand project-specific documents.
