Our client, global innovator and manufacturer of advanced solutions for water and wastewater treatment is searching for a Systems Control and Instrumentation Engineer. The ideal candidate will have deep experience with a variety of SCADA, PLC, and other automation systems and will have hands-on experience advising sites on SCADA needs and implementing solutions.

Responsibilities:
Controls documentation; PLC and HMI programs; Control panel designs; BOMs; Schematics; MCC’s and drives, and system architectures.
Developing and implementing remote data collection and processing to facilitate warrantee compliance and plant optimization.
Reviewing specification at or before bid and other sales support to enable business success.
Delivery of the complete controls requirements for MBR projects.
Identify and implement new and alternate technologies to enhance our ability to design and delivery robust controls systems faster and at lower cost.
Developing a clear and precise understanding of the project requirements and work plans including the defining of scope of work and program schedules.
Direct, and check work by OEM partners and EPC Projects.
Complete programming audits and factory acceptance testing.
Ensuring compliance with applicable internal standards, external codes and regulatory requirements.
Site visits, commissioning services, analyzing field data and providing technical support to engineering purchasing, fabrication, quality and field personnel.
Requirements
B.Sc. or CET Electrical and Controls with strong programming skills.
3 to 7 of years controls design and programing engineering experience.
Direct experience programming and design of other PLC suppliers, especially Siemens and Allen Bradley.
Direct experience programming SCADA systems.
Ability to specify, commission, and troubleshoot motor starters, VFD’s, and MCC’s up to 200 hp.
Understanding of Plant integration and controls preferably in Water and Wastewater Treatment equipment & processes.
Experience with industrial networking.
