Hydroponic Greenhouse Seeder

Greenhouse Seeder needed for hydroponic lettuce growing facility in Etowah, NC

7AM-5: 30PM, rotating four day work week

Temp to Hire (approximately 90 days - Permanent Benefits Include:

Responsible for carrying out the daily seeding and germination plan in a safe and efficient manner.
Adheres to protocols and documentation related to food safety. Follows supervisor s instructions in
adhering to standardized practices with emphasis on achieving required results.

Duties / Responsibilities:
- Track production line efficiency by hour to achieve daily goals.
- Train and educate new seeding crew members in operating procedures with emphasis on safety
and food safety.
- Adhere to all current SOP s, inspections, and quality requirements.
- Communicate with supervisor when irregularities with product or equipment occur.
- Take accurate inventory as needed and requested by head grower.
- Ensure accurate record keeping of performed testing and recording charts are properly
documented according to company and regulatory guidelines.
- Ensure a safe, clean, organized work area.
- Report food safety and quality problems to Supervisor, the SQF Practitioner or directly to Senior
Management.
- The seeding team performs weekly germination room cleaning and sanitation.

Required Qualifications:
- 0-1 years of experience in a production environment or related work experience
- Food or agriculture industry experience preferred
- Training in Food Safety and Sanitation preferred
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as standard operating procedures, safety rules,
label mixing instructions
- Ability to fulfill routine logs related to food safety and inspection reports, either in paperwork or
digital form
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers

Working conditions / Environment / Travel / Schedule required:
Greenhouse/Warehouse/Coolers. Employees will have frequent exposure to seasonal conditions which
may range from extreme heat and humidity in the summer to cold in the winter. Often working near
moving mechanical parts. There will be exposure to dust. The noise level of machines and cooling units
can be loud. All safety gear will be provided, and expected to be used, for conditions involving extreme
weather, noise, and chemical exposure.

Physical requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, employees are expected to constantly use hands to finger,
handle or feel, as well as talk and hear. There is frequent standing, walking, reaching with hands and
