Penmac Staffing has teamed up with a local manufacturing company in the Aitkin area in the search for Full-Time Machine Operators. This is an awesome company to work for! They offer great flexibility with work schedules, allow plenty of overtime, and they are willing to train the right candidates! Pay starts at $20-22/hour for someone with no experience and goes up to $35+, depending upon experience and skill level.  
Job Duties:
  • Operate machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments
  • Review samples, drawings, or instructions to understand specifications of output
  • Plan the sequence of necessary actions for the completion of a job
  • Take measurements and mark material for cutting or shaping
  • Determine and program size of batches, speed of machine etc.
  • Calculate dimensions and tolerance using measuring instruments  
Skills & requirements:
  • Ability to lift up to 60lb
  • Ability to use precision tools (e.g. calipers and micrometers) to take accurate measurements
  • Ability to follow directions
Compensation:
  • $20 - $35 per hour base rate, more depending on skill and experience
    • 1st and 2nd shifts available
