Formulation Scientist

Our client, a leading chemical manufacturer, is seeking a Formulation Scientist to join their dynamic team. As a Formulation Scientist, you will be part of the Research and Development department supporting various projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a passion for innovation. 

Job Title: Formulation Scientist 

Location: Katy, TX 

Pay: Competitive hourly pay + benefits 

Key Responsibilities 

• Optimize current formulations to enhance stability profiles for regulatory approval and long-term viability. 

• Develop formulation prototypes and assess their chemical and physical properties, performance, and stability. 

• Prepare product samples for field testing to evaluate efficacy and safety. 

• Support scale-ups from prototype to commercial products, including process and equipment optimization. 

• Perform QC/QA analysis on raw materials and final products using a variety of instrumentation. 

Requirements  

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry required; Master's degree preferred. 

• 3+ years of experience in analytical, organic, or related chemistry fields. 

• Strong understanding of analytical instrumentation such as HPLC, GC, LC/MS, and ICP-OES. 

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently troubleshoot issues. 

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and excellent communication skills.
