Mental Health Counselor - Lourdes Counseling Center (Transitions) - FT Rotating Shifts

Functions as a member of a multi-disciplinary team and as a member of nursing services to provide 24-hour direct supervision of patients, and to implement treatment plans as directed by Charge RN. A critical attribute required of this position is exceptional interpersonal customer services consisting of an outgoing positive attitude, warm friendly joyful demeanor, and the utmost care and reverence for our guests, patients, families, customers and colleagues.

Salary Range: $16.26 - $22.76

EDUCATION

1. Education: Required minimum 90 quarter or 60 semester credit hours post high school Preferred: Associate of Arts (AA) or Bachelor’s of Science (BS) or Arts (BA) or Social Work (BSW) Degree in social service//behavioral science.
2. Population Served: Knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the population served in Adult Inpatient Services.
3. Experience: Preferred: Minimum one (1) year mental health experience.
4. Certification: Required within 30 days of hire date: Washington State Department of Health Registered or Licensed Counselor in Mental Health or Social Work.
   1. Obtain or possess current Heart Savers CPR and First Aid Certification.

5. Other: Bilingual and/or English-Spanish speaking preferred. Ability to work with culturally diverse population.
