Experience:

• 24 months of role experience is required.

• 24 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience is required.

• Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a New York license in hand at the time of application.

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Candidates must live at least 100 miles away from this facility in order to be considered a traveler when applying for this role.

• COVID vaccination required to apply. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• COVID booster required for onboarding. Declinations not accepted.

• Flu vaccination required for onboarding. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

Sunday to Saturday; No block schedules for any reason

Weekend Requirements: As needed (every other or every third)

Must be able to work nursery in addition to labor & delivery, as well as postpartum

Exp in antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and gynecological non-obstetrical patients required; Exp w/: IV pumps, EFM; Oxytocin for Induction/Augmentation of Labor, VBAC, Hemorrhage, Administration of Magnesium Sulfate, Starting IVs, lab draws

Pediatric patients include neonates up to 28 days old and Outpatient Lactation Services

RN’s required to maintain CPR, ACLS, NRP, EMTALA competencies, Fetal Monitoring Certification and competencies that are appropriate for their scope of practice

EPIC experience from within the past 12 months is required and nonnegotiable.

No work hx with gaps over 30 days w/o explanation can be submitted; Must have Facility Type, EMR, and Bed Count filled out to submit, otherwise file will be rejected

Public Transportation is NOT accessible in this area, please ensure you have reliable transportation, personal vehicle or rental vehicle are strongly recommended, vehicles should be equipped with all season or snow tires during the months of November – April
