Are you a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist looking for an exciting contract opportunity to make a positive impact on the communication skills of students? ProCare Therapy is currently seeking a qualified professional to join our team in Dover, PA, as a School Speech-Language Pathologist.

Job Description: As a School Speech-Language Pathologist, you will play a crucial role in assessing and treating communication disorders in students. Working within the school setting, you will collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to create and implement individualized therapy plans. This position involves supporting students with a variety of communication needs, including speech and language delays, articulation disorders, and language processing difficulties.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to identify speech and language disorders in students
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on assessment findings
  • Provide direct therapy services to students both individually and in small groups
  • Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to support students in the classroom
  • Monitor and document student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and collaborate on educational planning
  • Provide education and support to parents and caregivers as needed

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Pennsylvania state license in Speech-Language Pathology
  • ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Previous experience working in educational settings preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team
