Schools - Paraprofessional

Summary:
ProCare Therapys Educational Department seeks a Paraprofessional in Wahpeton, North Dekota. Ideal candidates will play a crucial role in supporting the educational needs of students in a school setting, working under the supervision of BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst). They should contribute to the overall functioning of the classroom by positively impacting students self-esteem, motivation, and overall well-being in a trusted and encouraging direction. Paraprofessionals are an essential member of early intervention programs as they work closely with teachers, administrators, and other education professionals to create an enriching learning environment.

Responsibilities include:
Assist teachers with classroom activities.
Compassionate, patient, and empathetic regarding behavioral needs
Provide support either 1:1 or group settings, often working closely with disabilities and/or ESL programs.
Familiar with the specific challenges faced by special needs students.
Tailor inclusive and supportive learning strategies to promote overall development.
Give students a chance to practice skills previously learned.
Behavior and Social Skills Support
Allow teachers more planning time by collaborating classroom management strategies.
Providing academic, emotional, or personal care inside classroom settings

Pay & Benefits:
$18-25 hourly pay
Weekly direct deposit.
W2 employment with ProCare Therapy.

Requirements:
High school diploma required.
Paraprofessional certificate preferred
Experience working with children or adolescents preferably within classroom settings.

Interview Process:
(10-15) minute screening call with a ProCare Therapy Recruiter
(20-30) minute virtual interview directly with the school
Comprehensive Background Check
Offer is typically within 24 hours of the virtual interview.
