School Psychologist Opportunity Available

Blazer Jobs is currently seeking experienced school psychologists for full-time roles within school districts in the Cedartown, GA area. As an integral part of the educational team, the ideal candidates will meet all local and state requirements for this position.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' academic, social, and emotional needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies.
• Provide counseling and support services to students experiencing behavioral or emotional challenges.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to discuss student progress and make recommendations for educational programming.
• Assist in the development and implementation of school-wide initiatives to promote positive mental health and well-being.

Requirements:

• Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist.
• Knowledge of local and state regulations governing the provision of psychological services in educational settings.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
