Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist in North Dakota to join our team. This position is perfect for experienced professionals who are passionate about providing high-quality speech therapy services to students in a school-based setting. As a Virtual Speech Pathologist, you will work remotely, connecting with students virtually to assess, diagnose, and treat various communication disorders.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students' speech and language skills through virtual platforms.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results and collaborate with teachers and parents to ensure the successful implementation of therapy goals.
- Provide evidence-based speech therapy services using telepractice techniques to address articulation, language, fluency, voice, and other communication disorders.
- Utilize telehealth technology to engage and motivate students during therapy sessions.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in compliance with school and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure a holistic approach to student support and progress.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid North Dakota license or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP or equivalent).
- Proficient in using telepractice platforms and technology for delivering remote therapy services.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities to effectively manage a caseload of students.
- Ability to work independently and remotely, demonstrating self-motivation and initiative.
- Familiarity with relevant educational laws, regulations, and policies (e.g., IDEA).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience providing telehealth speech therapy services.
- Specialization or experience in working with specific populations, such as early intervention, bilingual students, or students with autism spectrum disorders.
Contract Details: This is an independent contractor position (1099) with flexible hours. You will have the freedom to set your own schedule within the agreed-upon caseload. Compensation will be commensurate with experience and discussed during the interview process.
