Speech Language Pathologist Wingate, NC

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. This role offers an amazing opportunity to work with elementary students, providing individualized speech and language services to address a rang of communication needs.

Job Description:
As an SLP, you will play a critical role in supporting the communication development of our students across all grade levels. You will be responsible for conducting evaluations and assessments, writing Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and objectives, and providing direct therapy services to students with mild - severe disabilities. We are seeking a team player who is dedicated to collaborating with colleagues, parents, and other professionals to ensure the success of all students.

Job Qualifications:

  • Master s Degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • CCC: Certificate of Clinical Competence or CFY: Clinical Fellowship Year
  • Must have an active North Carolina SLP license
  • Previous experience as a school SLP preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations and assessments to determine students' communication strengths and areas of need.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students with diverse needs, including articulation, language, fluency, and communication disorders.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust intervention strategies as needed to promote growth and achievement of goals.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' speech and language goals.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of therapy sessions and progress reports.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute valuable insights.
