Summary:

Responsible for driving sales and providing exceptional customer service in our patio furniture department. Lead team of sales associates, manage inventory, assist customers in finding the perfect patio furniture solutions, and contribute to the overall success of our retail establishment. 

 

Essential Functions

 

  1. Team Management: Supervise, train, and motivate a team of sales associates to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer experiences.
  2. Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other departments, such as marketing and purchasing, to coordinate promotions, events, and product launches to drive sales and enhance the customer experience.
  3. Furniture Buying: Source and select new patio furniture products, including attending trade shows, evaluating suppliers, and negotiating contracts to ensure a diverse and appealing product assortment.
  4. Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, track sales trends, and coordinate with management to ensure adequate stock levels and product assortment.
  5. Administrative Tasks: Complete sales paperwork, process transactions accurately, and assist with other administrative duties as needed. Generate P.O.s, check acknowledgements, invoices, manage and track deliveries.
  6. Customer Satisfaction: Ensure customer satisfaction by promptly addressing any inquiries, concerns, or issues, and going above and beyond to exceed customer expectations.
  7. Visual Merchandise: Ensure the patio furniture department is well-organized, visually appealing, and effectively showcases our products to maximize sales opportunities.
  8. Sales Leadership: Lead by example by demonstrating excellent salesmanship, product knowledge, and customer service skills.
  9. Customer Engagement: Greet customers, assess their needs, and provide expert advice and recommendations on patio furniture selections.
  10. Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our patio furniture products, including materials, features, and benefits, to effectively assist customers and drive sales.
