Job Description
This team will be taking out old equipment, installing new equipment, and re-configuring where they can to merge their IT infrastructures.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
•Participate in the planning and delivery of technical support services, including troubleshooting, installation, removals, moves, customer assistance, and/or training, as needed for the customer requirements
•Set up equipment for employee use, ensuring proper functionality
•Follow IT protocol and management processes to maintain desktop systems under the direction of System Administrator staff
•Deliver Great customer service and interactions with the hospital staff.
Other Duties:
•Provide Tier 1 and 2 support for all desktop, laptop, phone and other computing equipment
•Participate in the diagnosis and resolution of problems in response to customer reported incidents
•Manage service requests via ticket tracking system (ServiceNow)
•Triage and prioritize service requests and escalate appropriately
•Create documentation for desktop setup, maintenance, repair and asset tracking
•Develop training materials and procedures, and/or train users in the proper use of hardware and software
•Refer major hardware or software problems or defective products to vendors or technicians for service
•Prepare evaluations of software or hardware, and recommend improvements or upgrades
•Provide feedback on problematic trends and patterns in customer support
This position requires work to be done in a hospital clinical setting. Vaccination requirements include: MMR, Varicella, TDap, Hep B, Flu (during Flu Season), and COVID.
