Job Title: Full-Time School Social Worker

Location: Belen, NM

Position Overview: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Full-Time School Social Worker to join our team in Belen, NM. The successful candidate will provide essential social and emotional support to students, families, and staff within our educational community.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to identify students' social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
• Develop and implement individualized intervention plans to support students' academic and personal growth.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to address students' social and emotional concerns.
• Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as needed.
• Advocate for students and families to ensure access to necessary resources and support services.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to coordinate services and interventions.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of student interactions and progress.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Social Work or related field from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a School Social Worker in the state of New Mexico.
• Experience working with children and adolescents in an educational setting preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Commitment to promoting equity and inclusion in education.
