Data Entry Operator

TDEC, a nationally recognized Business Processing Organization (BPO), seeks a Data Entry Operator,  part time, for our Client in Lebanon, VA  . You must be able to work onsite in our Lebanon, VA  office.  You must be able to work a minimum of 20 hours per week. 

DATA ENTRY OPERATOR

(a) DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collect and enter data into databases and maintain accurate records.

• Accurately enter data from a variety of sources.
• Review and inspect work to assure compliance with job instructions, layouts, and other procedural instructions.
• Selection, coding and interpretation of data.
• Ensure quality control of completed jobs.
• Assist in maintaining production in accordance with established schedules and priorities.
• Perform record keeping of work performed.
• Comply with data integrity and security policies.

(b) KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Working knowledge of data entry machine/computer operation, practices, and procedures.
• 40wpm typing speed and accuracy.
• Ability to use 10-key pad and alpha-numeric entry.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Minimum of a high school diploma.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background and credit check.

(b) KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:

• At least one year of work experience as a data entry operator.
