Salary:
RESPONSIBILTIES:
Essential Functions –
- Provide assistance with daily operations of the McPherson Center, including facility oversight, scheduling, and providing updates to the Associate Director of Outreach
- Assist with the Early College Textbook Program, course planning, and creation process to ensure courses are set up with the appropriate data elements (e.g. textbooks, start/end dates/times, course notes, delivery method, etc.).
- Manage and oversee the use of the High School Portal, coordinate training for high school partners, and identify challenges and opportunities.
- Provide supervision and evaluation of support staff and develop a coverage plan for the front desk, proctoring and custodial services as needed
- Coordinate Early College services, including Student IDs, completion of HS permission forms, confirmation of intent, and CEP agreements.
- Provide oversight to ensure Outreach faculty processes are completed in a timely manner, e.g. instructor sheets, course certification, gradebook input, outcome assessment reporting, and final grade submission.
- Ensure faculty instructional materials are current, mileage is submitted, and student evaluations are completed.
- Collaborate with the Outreach Career Development Coordinator on Excel in CTE opportunities for Early College students and staff.
- Arrive on time for work, attend work regularly, and successfully complete the responsibilities of the position.
- Comply with HutchCC policies, procedures, and practices.
Secondary –
- Travel to other HutchCC locations as needed.
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned by the Associate Director of Outreach
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associates degree required; Baccalaureate degree preferred.
- Experience in higher education or related field preferred.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently required.
- Establish and maintain effective professional relationships and work as a team member in a student-centered environment.
- Excellent oral/written communication skills.
- Computer-literate with skills in word processing, spreadsheets, and related software applications.
- Physical Requirements: Visual acuity to view a computer terminal; use appropriate judgment, tact, and courtesy in difficult situations; understand words and respond effectively/appropriately; light/indoor work environment.
- Mental requirements include the ability to learn and comprehend basic instructions about the position.

SALARY and STATUS:
The hourly rate of pay is commensurate with qualifications as determined by HutchCC administration. This full-time administrative staff position is 12 months annual, benefit eligible, at-will, and nonexempt.
