Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a seasonal Banquet Houseperson to join our team.. The ideal candidate will be an energetic and detail-oriented individual with a passion for hospitality and customer service. Events range from small dinner parties to large club-wide celebrations, that can take place in different locations around the property. As a Banquet Houseperson, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our Members and their guests have an unforgettable experience.


Responsibilities:

  • Set up and breakdown event spaces according to event orders and diagrams
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of event spaces before, during, and after events
  • Assist with the loading and unloading of equipment and supplies for events
  • Collaborate with the banquet team to ensure that all requests are met in a timely and efficient manner
  • Adhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines

Requirements:

Skills:

  • Prior experience in banquet or event setup preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of linen and table sizes
  • Working with the Laundry department
  • Taking inventory of the current stock of furniture in storage
  • Rearranging storage areas when new equipment comes in
  • Typically, A.M. shift oriented but open to flexible schedule
  • Flexibility with daily routine and event changes
