The Sonnnenalp is looking for a Spa Attendant. This application will close May 1st, 2024.
Wage: $17.00 Plus Tips
Primary Purpose of Position
This position is a true guest service role requiring an individual that approaches the spa as if it were their home as they welcome and care for guests during their visit at the Spa. Housekeeping functions consume approximately 90% of the daily work. The Spa Valet is a key role in maintaining the guest readiness of the facility. Guest privacy and discretion will be a major responsibility of the valet position.
Schedule: Full time/Seasonal; Weekend availability
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain all Guest areas in a constant state of readiness to provide a fresh experience for each and every guest, which includes all water stations, fruit stations, locker rooms, and wet lounges.
Provide continuous guest service in anticipation of guests’ needs - Perform Spa Guest Orientation and Tours
- Maintain proper linen pars on a daily basis in locker/Relaxation Lounges
- Stock linen closets and guest lockers
- Maintain cleanliness of linen areas
- Upkeep cleanliness of spa locker rooms and grooming stations.
- Maintain cleanliness of all guest dry and wet lounges
- Stock and maintain hospitality stations, Wellness Center, Yoga/Pilates Studio, Spa Café areas, and pool areas.
Education/Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Prior housekeeping experience preferred
Special Skills/Equipment
- Ability to perform job functions with minimal supervision
- Ability to work cohesively with other departments and coworkers as part of a team
- Ability to learn SpaSoft System Scheduling System to ensure guests and therapists are on time
- Record and communicate any guest preferences in SMS and HotSos
- Proficient in English language (oral and written)
Essential Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift and push up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to stand and/or walk through entire length of shift.
- Frequent bending, kneeling, reaching, and stooping required.
