Advance Services is looking for welders to work in a heavy haul trailer manufacturer in Oelwein, Iowa. This job is responsible for assembling and welding components required to build large steel trailers.

Responsibilities:

• Reading and understanding blueprints prior to starting a project

• Assemble and fabricate large metal structures using a various equipment such as MIG welders, grinders, torches, arc cutting and measuring tools.

• Responsible for manufacturing products according to the specifications and standards of the customers.

• Checking finished work to make sure that it falls within the tolerances marked on the blueprints.

• Lifting and carrying heavy items and moving components by operating an overhead crane.

• Keep equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements.

• Maintains safe and clean working environment.

• Wear proper personal protective equipment.

• Ability to work overtime as required including Saturdays.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent

• Previous welding experience

• Basic understand of Shop Math.

• Ability to read and understand blueprints and specification.

• Ability to work overtime as required including Saturdays.
