Medication Tech

**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a Medication Tech to join our healthcare team. The Medication Tech will be responsible for administering medication to residents as prescribed by the attending physician, nurse practitioner, or director of health services. This individual will ensure accurate documentation of medication administration and maintain a safe and clean medication management environment.

**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current certification as a Medication Tech or Med Tech
- Previous experience in medication administration in a healthcare setting
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Knowledge of medication names, purposes, and dosage

**Responsibilities:**
- Administer medications to residents according to prescribed schedules and dosages
- Document medication administration and resident responses in electronic health records
- Monitor residents for any side effects or adverse reactions to medications
- Communicate effectively with healthcare team members regarding resident care
- Maintain a clean and organized medication storage area
- Assist with ordering and restocking medications and supplies
- Participate in training and educational programs as required
- Adhere to all state and federal regulations related to medication administration
