As our Resort Reservation Specialist, you will create a pleasant and engaging experience for our Resort customers through inbound and outbound call efforts, completing site reservation transactions, and selling vacation enhancers, and upgrades.


This is a seasonal position that may require flexible scheduling availability.

Requirements:

Job Requirements:

  • Field incoming phone calls from the resort hotline and the field
  • Respond to incoming web chats ensuring a positive customer experience
  • Guide incoming callers through the reservation process
  • Ensure a positive customer experience by effectively managing the site rental process through inbound and outbound calls and Sales
  • Force lead software which includes reservations, payments,
  • and retaining knowledge of all company resorts and amenities
  • Educate guests on resort locations, amenities, and bookings
  • Meet and/or exceed the targeted calls, site nights, presented/handled call ratios, and revenue creation on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis Work with existing customers to obtain potential new customers through referral programs
  • Maximize sales by extending the stays of customers, reserving future bookings, and selling vacation enhancers
  • Meet and/or exceeds all reservation goals as assigned
  • Adhere to all company policies regarding inbound and outbound calls

Job Qualifications:

  • Basic computer proficiency, including the ability to use Microsoft Office, email, and the internet
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • 1 year of sales and customer service experience is preferred

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The number of hours you will be scheduled to work during the week is variable and is based on guest occupancy, season, staffing and other factors. Island Hospitality is unable to guarantee a specific number of work hours per week.
