Manager Warehouse

Summary:

Supervises the field warehouse operation in a manner that provides maximum efficiency/ profitability for Forum, trouble-free equipment to customers and a safe working environment for employees. Leads medium-sized operation typically with more than 5 employees who receive, store, distribute and/or repair equipment or raw materials. Handles special projects, as assigned.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Ensure a safety working environment, manage employee safety expectations and hold safety talks with your team.
• Develop and enforce warehouse management strategies to ensure operational efficiency and inventory accuracy.
• Manage the entire warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, distribution, cycle counting and maintenance.
• Ensure all operations comply with company policies and legal guidelines, maintaining standards for health, safety, cleanliness, and security.
• Optimize stock control, liaise with clients, suppliers, and transport companies, and oversee maintenance of warehouse equipment and vehicles.

Skills/Knowledge

• Proven experience in warehouse management, demonstrating expertise in warehouse procedures and best practices.
• Strong leadership abilities with experience in staff management, decision-making, and problem-solving.
• Proficiency in warehouse management software and databases, and knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Excellent communication skills (bilingual in English/Spanish is a bonus).

Education

• High School Degree or equivalent.

Experience

• 5+ years experience in a field warehouse environment.
