WE’RE SEEKING EXPERTS in STRUCTURAL ENGINEERING who are looking for opportunities for growth and profit sharing from anywhere!

We’re seeking a professional Structural Engineer (PE or SE) for our Idaho based consulting engineer firm. FAE serves industrial clients who move material (like food processing, mining, mineral processing, wood processing). Our team designs a wide variety of systems and structures for a range of different industrial processes and industries. This hire will work with mechanical engineers, drafters and professional surveyors in our office with design related tasks and flex the power of your PE stamp by actively sealing drawings.

Let’s cut to the chase - we’re different. Our firm is built for growing engineers who are seeking out opportunities to master the art of engineering, and get paid for a job well done. We are focused on sustainable growth and providing our team opportunities along the way.  We rely heavily on the expertise that PE’s bring to the table to help train and mold the next generation of professionals.

We’re licensed in over 30 states and open to working with the right person remotely. We ask that you spend a month with us at our HQ in Idaho, and then can work from anywhere in these states: California, Idaho, Oregon, Texas, or Washington.

Some of our unique benefits include:

  • Project variety that will test you and support your engineering growth
  • 15 paid professional development hours per year
  • $1,000 in reimbursement for conferences, webinar subscriptions, all of your PDH needs
  • Mentorship opportunities
  • Parental leave of 120 hours for anyway adding kiddos to their household
  • Company campouts, family parties, team get togethers
  • Quarterly profit sharing that averages an additional 12% ON TOP of your base pay
  • Exposure behind the scene to see how it all works with our open book approach to business
  • Opportunity to participate in employee retention, business development, and professional development teams to make you a well rounded asset.
  • Design your own career path model,  giving you the opportunity to move up as quickly as your skillset can take you. No waiting for anyone else to clear the way for your advancement.

Our traditional benefits include things like:

  • 100% paid premium for your health insurance (and 50% paid premium for anyone else you’d like to add to your plan)
  • 3% contribution to your retirement account (no matching required)
  • 120 hours of PTO, 8 scheduled holidays, and 2 floating holidays to celebrate whatever drives you

Let’s talk about you. Requirements for this job include:

  • B.S. in Structural or Civil Engineering field
  • Registered as a Professional Engineer
  • Highly organized to manage detailed project information and prioritize tasks
  • Dedication to growing  the engineering profession and work in a collaborative environment
  • Excited to work on large (we’re talking massive) scale projects for industrial clients
  • Experience as a remote worker
  • Experience as a project manager.

We value problem solvers with a passion for innovation and design, people who think and act like owners, and agile principles that allow us to adapt and flow where needed to deliver the coolest retro fits and new builds we can for our heavy industrial clients.
