Job Title: Sr. Stone and Masonry Estimator
Location: Indian Trail, North Carolina (projects primarily in Charlotte)
Compensation: $80,000 - $105,000 annually
Job Type: Full-time/Part-time W2 Estimator

Requirements:
- No visa sponsorship, must meet all employment requirements prior to applying. 
- 5-10 years of construction estimating experience.
- This is a tech savvy firm, if you are still estimating via paper this is the wrong job for you. 
- Drivers license and vehicle required to visit job sites when required.
- This is not a WFH job.

A leading concrete and masonry firm with over 25 years of experience in delivering high-quality stone and masonry projects across North and South Carolina. We pride ourselves on our craftsmanship, reliability, and dedication to excellence. Due to our ongoing growth, we are seeking a skilled Stone and Masonry Estimator to join our dynamic team.

Role Summary:
As a Stone and Masonry Estimator, you will play a crucial role in the planning and execution phases of our projects. Your expertise will ensure that all stone and masonry work is accurately estimated, considering materials, labor, and time, thereby contributing significantly to the project's success. This role requires a combination of technical knowledge, analytical skills, and an in-depth understanding of construction processes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed estimates for stone and masonry work, including material takeoffs, labor costs, and equipment needs.
- Analyze architectural drawings and specifications to accurately assess project requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and contractors to gather all necessary information for bidding purposes.
- Utilize industry-standard software to create and present estimates and proposals.
- Conduct site visits as needed to ensure accurate estimations and address potential challenges.
- Stay updated with market trends and material costs to provide the most accurate and competitive bids.
- Participate in bid review meetings with clients and project stakeholders.
- Maintain a comprehensive database of past projects, estimates, and actual costs to refine future estimates.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in stone and masonry estimation or a closely related field.
- Proficiency in popular estimation software packages such as PlanSwift, Bluebeam Revu, and STACK.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and market trends.
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field is preferred.

Desirable Skills:
- Familiarity with AutoCAD or similar CAD software.
- Experience with BIM (Building Information Modeling) software.
- Certification from recognized construction or estimating organizations.
