Job Description
Role

As a Mechanical Assembler (also known as Equipment Assembler, Assembly Technician), you'll assemble, disassemble, mount, and modify blowers and exhausters. You'll work with the Engineering and Quality Assurance departments to troubleshoot problems, adhere to standard work practices, and follow all safety rules. You'll also operate cranes and fork trucks (training and certification provided), and use machinery and hand tools as necessary.

Qualifications
  • Strong shop math skills and mechanical assembly skills.
  • Experience with blueprint reading and ruler knowledge.
  • Proficiency with basic hand tools and small parts assembly.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
  • Experience with blowers, compressors, exhausters, micrometers, and other measuring instruments preferred.
  • Overhead crane, lift truck, machining or welding experience is a plus.
  • Automotive experience can be helpful.
