DIRECT HIRE Stamping Maintenance Engineer $100,000 - $140,000 + 15% bonus

Position Summary
In the role of Stamping Maintenance Engineer, you will be working along side the maintenance leader to ensure presses are controlled appropriately and functioning to support production.
Position Responsibilities
- Provides electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical drawings to maintenance technicians to aid in repair and troubleshooting of stamping presses.
- Works with Maintenance Engineer and Maintenance Technicians to troubleshoot and resolve stamping press issues utilizing RCA tools.
- Receives quotes to refurbish, repair and maintain stamping presses from vendors and other outside resources.
- Schedules stamping press PM and Work Order completions in conjunction with Maintenance Coordinator and Maintenance Engineer
- Monitors PM frequencies and content in conjunction with Maintenance coordinator
- Ensures that spare part inventory is adequate for stamping press sizes and quantities
- Coordinates stamping improvement projects and repairs
- Assist in necessary repairs to damaged equipment (to the component level if needed).
- Provides support to other departments and team members as directed by the Maintenance Manager.
- Maintain proper filing system to ensure all information is properly stored and easily retrieved.
Minimum Requirements:
- Experience in the automotive industry with exposure to building equipment, programmable logic control, electrical, robotics, etc
- Excellent blueprint reading ability
- Must have 5 years experience with Servo, Transfer, Mechanical presses, and Decoilers
- Industrial Electrical
- Working knowledge of Siemen's Step 7, Simotion, S7 safety and TIA portal software
- Preferred: AutoCAD, Rockwell Studio5000, Rslogix500, FactoryTalk, and Elipse SCADA experience
- Sound understanding of IATF 16949/ISO 14001 requirements
- Working knowledge of processes
- Computer skills, Microsoft Word, Excel
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Troubleshooting, problem solving and decision making skills
- Ability to handle multi-tasks and changing priorities
