Job Purpose:

To effectively and efficiently screen, recruit, interview, and place qualified, licensed dentists and orthodontists in open clinical positions with the company.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Partner with senior leadership team to recruit for open professional staff (Associate Dentist) positions. This will include identifying recent graduates as well as recruiting and hiring experienced dentists with DSO experience.
  • Identify, schedule, and attend hiring events targeted to reach general dentists and orthodontists.
  • Conduct presentations at school events, such as Lunch & Learn programs, to engage potential candidates. Additionally, will participate in recruiting events such as career fairs and meet & greet opportunities at universities.
  • Interview job applicants to obtain and verify information used to screen and evaluate them.
  • Inform job applicants of details such as duties and responsibilities, compensation, benefits, schedules, working conditions, or promotion opportunities.
  • Process and review employment applications to evaluate qualifications or eligibility of applicants.
  • Inform job applicants of their acceptance or rejection of employment.
  • Select applicants meeting specified job requirements and refer them to hiring personnel.
  • Arrange for advertising or posting of job vacancies and notify eligible workers of position availability.
  • Perform searches for qualified job candidates, using sources such as computer databases, networking, Internet recruiting resources, media advertisements, job fairs, or employee referrals.
  • Conduct reference or background checks on job applicants.
  • Other duties as may be assigned.

Qualifications/ Skill Sets:

  • Proven experience with full cycle recruitment
  • Marketing background/experience is a huge plus!
  • Extensive knowledge of DSO models, contract structure/package within the industry and contract negotiation skills a plus.
  • Knowledge of Immigration sponsorship process, H1B status, and Permanent Residency requirements. Will also act as point of contact between doctors and Familia Dental immigration attorneys.
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
  • Knowledge of and previous experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS).
  • Active Listening skills. Must be able to give full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate.
  • Talking to others to convey information effectively.
  • Time Management Skills to manage one’s own time.
  • The ability to communicate information and ideas in writing so others will understand.
  • Communicating with people outside the organization, representing the organization to customers, the public, government, and other external sources. This information can be exchanged in person, in writing, or by telephone or e-mail.
  • Experience recruiting within Healthcare and Dental clinics

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration is preferred but not required. Will consider relevant work experience.
  • 1-2 Years of related work experience preferred.
  • Excellent computer skills including MSOffice, including Excel.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work with all levels of the organization.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to remain in a stationary position, sitting and/or standing, for extended time [e.g. sitting at a desk, working at a computer].
  • Must be able to travel approximately 20-30% of the time. Travel is by automobile, train or commercial airlines.
