The screen printing shop staff member will:

• Create and/or assist customers with designs using traditional art materials and digital processes. Susie’s College Store will be our main customer and will require some designs to be made for them every semester.
• Ensure that all copyright rules are followed as they pertain to your own designs and the designs of our customers.
• Checks work emails regularly.
• Sending, receiving, and following-up on invoices.
• Print on merchandise using the shop's screen printing equipment.
• Keep track of and order supplies as needed.
• Maintain the space, including reporting and troubleshooting equipment maintenance.
• Maintain hours of operation.
• Be available for recruiting tours of the spaces, ensuring they are clean and presentable.
• Assist with scheduling and implementing events and learning experiences, including promotion of events.
• Care for the general cleanliness and overall operation of the studio
• Manage the correct production of transparencies and general maintenance of the transparency printer
• Understand how to operate the 4-color printing press, proper standards for reclaiming screens, and storage of inks and apparel materials.
• Ensure that only students with printing certification are in the studio.
• Ensure that the printing shop is locked up and everything is turned off at the end of your tech shift.
