Employment Coordinator Houston, TX

My Next Career Path Staffing is seeking an Employment Coordinator for The Work for Warriors Veterans Outreach Program.

The Employment Coordinator may be required to work in multiple Texas locations.

Major duties include but are not limited to:

* Establish outreach service provision with military installations, Reserve and National Guard facilities within a designated area.

* Provide transitional assistance briefings to Military, Reserve, and National Guard personnel transitioning from combat service/active duty to civilian life. Assist with resume preparation and resource services, cover letters and guidance for potential interviews.

* Develop and distribute outreach materials such as brochures, fact sheets, web content, and other targeted information which highlight Vet Center services and locations.

* Provide training and information to VA staff, other federal agencies, and community agencies regarding both Vet Center services, and the combat experience.

* Develop and maintain working relationships with a network of service provision agencies and individuals in all areas relevant to transitioning combat service members and their families.

* Organize and participate in a myriad of community activities and events that have high probability of GWOT, OEF, OIF, and OND veterans' presence.

Qualifications:

* Required to pass a background and drug screen.

• Must have multi-media marketing knowledge.

* Must pass a Security Clearance

* Bachelor's Degree
