Job Title: MEP Field Coordinator

As an MEP Field Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of our projects, from pre-construction through post-construction phases.

About Your Opportunity:
You will lead the coordination of mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, and electrical aspects throughout the project lifecycle. Working closely with the Project Team, you'll contribute to every phase of the project, ensuring adherence to industry standards and client expectations.

How You’ll Contribute:

  • Conduct on-site inspections of MEP installations at assigned project sites.
  • Monitor projects for compliance with plans, specifications, codes, and industry standards.
  • Oversee MEP installations to maintain impeccable quality control.
  • Maintain and manage MEP trades' completion/punch lists.
  • Generate and distribute weekly activity reports to key stakeholders.
  • Participate in submittal and change order processes for MEP phases.
  • Assist in MEP coordination shop drawing process and architectural integration.
  • Facilitate field coordination for all MEP phases.
  • Interpret and analyze MEP drawings and specifications.
  • Collaborate with MEP contractors to ensure accurate system installations.
  • Support in developing, monitoring, and updating project schedules for MEP phases.
  • Engage with clients, architects, and subcontractors for seamless project execution.
  • Participate in the commissioning process and provide educational support.
  • Assist with preconstruction and estimating tasks.
  • Contribute to constructability reviews of design documents.
  • Participate in MEP training opportunities.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Three to Seven years of progressive MEP construction experience.
  • Experience in managing MEP projects with contract values up to $5 million.
  • Proficiency in healthcare, education, multifamily, senior living, laboratory, or commercial sectors.
  • Knowledge of commissioning process and management capabilities.
  • Proficiency in BIM software (Revit and/or Navisworks).
  • Familiarity with MEP systems and controls.
  • LEED Accreditation is a plus.
  • Understanding of MEP equipment and systems.
  • Knowledge of relevant building codes and industry authorities.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Strong communication skills and proficiency in relevant software tools.
