Job Description

Our client is seeking a Member Experience Specialist II for its branch in Atlanta, MI. This position focuses on creating exceptional in-person experiences for existing and prospective members seeking specialized investment and business financial products and consultation. The starting hourly rate is $22.55, with potential increases based on relevant experience and skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Protect the integrity and confidentiality of membership by identifying members/account ownership to ensure proper access is upheld.
  • Perform transactional duties to serve members accurately, in accordance with credit union policies and procedures, and adhere to balancing standards and proper dual control.
  • Demonstrate competency and in-depth knowledge of all fiduciary deposit products, services, systems, and account types (including checking, savings, CDs, IRAs) and lending products for account opening and maintenance.
  • Meet or exceed monthly branch goals, including promoting ancillary products and submitting partner referrals to showcase added benefits and impact to the member.
  • Acquire specialization (become a subject matter expert) in one or two areas such as trusts, IRAs, business accounts, compliance, debt protection, etc.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of two years' experience as a service representative in the retail or service industry, or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in a similar role within the organization may be considered.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Suite.
