Job Title: Electrical Journeyman
Location: Pittsburgh, PA

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Lead Electrician to join our team and contribute to our continued success.
Position Summary:
We are seeking a Lead Electrician with experience in commercial and industrial settings to take on a pivotal role in our organization. This position may require both local and regional travel, with the potential for being on the road for 1-3 weeks at a time, based on client project needs. The ideal candidate should be flexible and willing to work on-call, during the day, at night, on weekends, or overtime shifts as the job requires.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise field staff to ensure the successful completion of electrical projects.
- Interpret blueprints and Statements of Work (SOW) documents to guide the installation and maintenance of electrical systems.
- Adhere to industry standards and stay current with National Electrical Code (NEC) requirements.
- Prioritize safety, following all applicable Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) guidelines.
- Possess and maintain basic hand tools and PPE.
- Coach, motivate, and mentor field staff to enhance their skills and performance.
- Thrive in a high-pressure environment, effectively managing challenges.
- Utilize computer skills for communication, reporting, and documentation.
- Demonstrate advanced troubleshooting skills for electrical systems.
- Exhibit strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
- Maintain excellent customer relationships and clear communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Pay meticulous attention to detail and complete field deliverables for each site, such as pictures, signed checklists, As-Built records, and more.
- Operate a BOOM or scissor lift safely and work at heights.
- Pass drug and background screening as required.
- Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record, with no DUI or DWI convictions in the last three years.
- Successfully pass any pre-screening tests.
- Must have a current Journeyman Electrician (JM) license or be able to reinstate it immediately.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Lead or Foreman electrician is required.
- Prior experience as a Commercial and/or Industrial Electrician is essential.
- A strong understanding of electrical systems, blueprints, and NEC requirements.
- A strong commitment to safety and the use of PPE.
- Proficiency in the operation of BOOM or scissor lifts and the ability to work at heights.
- Effective problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent customer relationship and communication skills.
- Dependability and punctuality in daily work attendance.
- Basic hand tools and PPE required for the role.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to coach, motivate, and mentor field staff.
- Self-motivated, with a desire for career advancement.
- Proficiency with computers, including email, spreadsheets, and Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).
