Job Title: Travel Ultrasound Technician
Location: Arcata, California
Contract Length: 13 Weeks (Prefer longer contract)
Shift: Monday - Friday, Five 8-hour Day Shifts, Some Call
Minimum Years Experience: 3
Weekly Hours: 40 hours guaranteed (32 hours for weeks containing a holiday)

Are you an experienced Ultrasound Technician looking for an exciting travel opportunity? Join our team as a Travel Ultrasound Tech in picturesque Arcata, California. We are seeking skilled individuals to provide exceptional imaging services in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality ultrasound examinations on patients, utilizing advanced imaging technology.
• Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.
• Obtain and analyze diagnostic images, ensuring accuracy and clarity for interpretation by radiologists and physicians.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes.
• Participate in shared on-call duties as required, providing timely responses to urgent imaging needs.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technician.
• ARDMS certification required.
• Current BLS certification.
• Proficiency in performing a variety of ultrasound procedures, including abdominal, vascular, obstetric, and gynecologic.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proof of negative TB test within the 12 months prior to the contract start date.
