Die Cast Operator
Peoplelink Staffing Solutions in partnership with the #1 aluminum knuckle manufacturer in the world, located in Auburn, Indiana, is looking for a Die Cast Operator. The Die Cast Operator operates the die cast machine and trim press machine to produce aluminum cast parts in accordance with quality specifications.
$19.00/hour
1st Shift - 6:30am - 2:30pm
2nd shift - 2:30pm - 10:30pm
3rd Shift - 10:30pm - 6:30am
Die Cast Operator Job Responsibilities:
- Operate all cell equipment including Die cast machines, Trim presses, Automatic sprayers, Extraction equipment, Hoists, Holding Furnaces, Tip Lubricators, Hot Oil Units, Vacuum Units, Metal Lading Equipment, Shot Blast Equipment
- Performs all basic PM’s and repairs to ensure machine upkeep.
- Assist and/or perform die changes and sampling.
Die Cast Operator Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Two- or three-year automated manufacturer’s degree or equivalent from technical college or technical school preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Employees are expected to work and attend in-person meetings as necessary.
- Ability to stand, bend, and stoop for long periods of time.
- Must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 lbs., but may be required to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; compute rates, ratios, percentages, and interpret graphs.
