Mining equipment mechanic

Job Function: Assembly and disassembly of various types of underground mining equipment, including continuous miners, roof bolters, scoops, etc. In a Shop setting.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years preferred

Skill Requirements:

· Knowledge of underground equipment and basic operation

· Able to read and understand hydraulic schematics, assembly and fabrication drawings

· Ability to safely and efficiently use mig welder and cutting torches

· Experienced in the use of overhead cranes and proper rigging and lifting processes

· Must be mechanically inclined and capable of performing a variety of job duties
