Job Description

We are seeking Training and Development Specialist candidates for a professional services firm located in the Jackson metro area. Reporting directly to the Director of Training, this role collaborates with subject matter experts to create engaging, effective, and innovative learning materials. The position is responsible for designing and delivering innovative and effective learning solutions. These solutions will be instrumental in advancing the firm's strategic goals by enhancing the skills and knowledge of its workforce, ranging from entry-level employees to executives.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to create accurate and relevant course content.
  • Design and develop course materials, including instructor manuals, participant guides, eLearning modules, videos, and job aids.
  • Craft and implement engaging learning activities, assignments, and assessments.
  • Lead train-the-trainer sessions to equip others with the skills to deliver and evaluate training effectively.
  • Maintain and refine existing training materials to ensure their ongoing effectiveness.
  • Stay updated with the latest instructional design best practices.
  • Write scripts for video and audio content to complement learning materials.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree in instructional design, communications, business, or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years in instructional design, training development, or a related area.
  • Proficient with eLearning authoring tools, such as Captivate, Articulate, or Storyline.
  • Knowledgeable in using AI tools for developing training content.
  • Familiar with Learning Management Systems (LMS), like Docebo.
  • Experience in organizing and implementing successful training workshops.
  • Demonstrated ability in enhancing employee engagement through effective training programs.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Compensation:

  • $52,000 to $60,000
