MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER

B.E. Meyers & Co., Inc. is seeking a talented, self-driven individual for a position as Marketing Communications Manager.  As a key member of the Marketing Team, the Marketing Communications Manager will be responsible for the development and implementation of communication strategies to support key corporate communications in support of our all facets of the company, to include online Social Media Strategy, Public Relations, Brand and Reseller Channel Partnerships, and Product Promotional Campaigns.

This role will work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to support key initiatives. To be a successful candidate, you’ll need to be a strategic thinking with can-do attitude and a natural verbal and written communicator who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where every detail matters.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Social Media Strategist
    • Develop our story on all social media platforms: LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X etc.
  • Ambassador and Facilitator Teams
    • Develop a yearly Ambassador and Facilitator Team roster and marketing strategy to support overall business objectives.
  • Brand Voice
    • Serve as a representative for the B.E. Meyers & Co. brand and its partner brands to customers in direct and indirect experiences.
  • Public Relations
    • Manage and liaise with external media, journalists, professional organizations, charitable organizations, government entities, and brand affiliates to maximize brand exposure and ensure accurate brand representation.
  • Marketing Plan Development & Support
    • Define, organize, and manage marketing activities and resources to bring about successful execution of marketing campaigns.
  • Partnership Marketing:
    • Collaborate with partner organizations on strategic marketing campaigns to expand access to customers and enhance brand experience on dealer websites.
  • Market Understanding: 
    • Knowledge of the market and B.E. Meyers & Co.’s position in it, as well as our current and prospective customer base.
  • Technical Product Acumen
    • Cultivate and demonstrate in-depth knowledge of B.E. Meyers & Co.’s products, services, and technologies.
  • Sales Alignment and Support
    • Align marketing work with the sales and business development objectives as well as routine sales efforts supporting all market and business segments.
  • Networking
    • Attend networking events, or relevant industry workshops.



RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develops and implements web marketing plans considering social websites (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, etc.), blogs, web advertising and web analytics.
  • Develops and implements general as well as targeted mass communication efforts (i.e. email, etc.) in support of products, events, corporate developments, and otherwise.
  • Coordinates with Business Development and Sales Managers to review their markets/expectations and determines marketing support required.
  • Supports development of proposals and presentations for both business development of corporate initiatives
  • Coordinates and orchestrates, in cooperation with other departments, the organization's marketing literature including product brochures, website, advertising and promotion activities including print, electronic, and direct mail outlets.
  • Jointly develops, drives, and deconflicts marketing initiatives with CEO, Creative Director, Director of Sales, Business Development Managers, and Creative Content Manager.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience in Social Media growth, PR, Communications, Marketing, Sales, or a similar role.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in communications, journalism, marketing communications, or similar.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to travel up to 10% of the time.

  • Compensation range: $85,000 - $125,000 annual salary

Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience. Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at B.E. Meyers & Co. You may also be eligible for long-term incentives, in the form of potential discretionary bonuses. You will also receive access to comprehensive medical, vision, and dental coverage, access to a 401(k)-retirement plan, short & long-term disability insurance, life insurance, paid parental leave, and various other discounts and perks. You may also accrue 10 days per year of paid vacation & will be eligible 10 paid holidays and 1 Floater per year. In accordance with WA sick law, employees are eligible for 1 hour of paid sick time for every 40 hours worked.


LANGUAGE & COMMUNICATION SKILLS

  • Proficiency in the English language and excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from the Senior Management Team, employees in training and clients or customers.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
