Overview

KB Components Dallas is a plastics injection molding company located in Arlington, Texas. We have added CNC Precision Machined parts to our inventory and we are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist (Milling) to join our team for the 1st shift. The ideal candidate will have experience with CNC Mill operations, machine setups for production runs, 3 and 5 axis machining centers, and working with machine brands such as Fanuc, Dmg Mori Seiki, and Haas.

The CNC Machinist position is on 1st shift Monday-Friday from 7:00am to 3:30pm. This is an advanced set-up/operator position and your daily duties will include setting up small pars on 3 and 5 axis machining centers:

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC Mill (3-4 axis VMC) and CNC Mill (5+ axis VMC) machines
• Perform machine setups for production runs, set fixture offset, modify tool offsets
• Read and interpret GD&T drawings
• Program using G-Code and M-Code
• Read/edit g-code for set-ups including determining tools to load
• Maintain machine cleanliness and perform routine maintenance
• Load tools in machine and set length/diameter offsets
• Adhere to ISO 9001 standards
• Adhere to 5S principals
• Interface with Quality Department to assure FAI and in process inspection

Qualifications

• 5+yrs prior experience as a CNC Machinist in a manufacturing environment with a focus on complete job setup
• Proficient in operating CNC Mill machines and setting up for production runs
• Knowledge of GD&T and ability to read technical drawings
• Familiarity with programming using G-Code and M-Code
• Experience working with machine brands such as Fanuc, Dmg Mori Seiki, and Haas
• Read standard measuring instruments, dial/digital calipers, micrometer, height gage, optical comparator
• Change parts in existing set-up with +- .001 accuracy

Salary info:

$17 - $30 / hr
