Job Description
SUMMARY
Candidate is responsible for providing leadership and supervising gaming operations on their shift while maintaining the highest standard of customer service, integrity, and confidentiality.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Candidate is responsible for enforcement of all company and departmental policies, service standards and Indiana Gaming Commission regulations.
• Candidate is responsible for maintaining proper staffing levels throughout shift and making adjustments as needed.
• Candidate is responsible for handling customer complaints and disputes.
• Candidate will complete the necessary paperwork associated with the daily functions of the gaming department including, but not limited to, shift reports, and corrective actions.
• Though company training candidate must be familiar with, and have a working knowledge of, the operations and paytables of the slot machines and self-serve sports wagering kiosks.
• Candidate will monitor gaming floor video programing and make adjustments as necessary to maintain adequate sports coverage in viewing areas.
• Candidate is responsible to ensure that all jackpot transactions are completed accurately, jackpot slips and payment procedures are in compliance with departmental internal controls and are completed within a reasonable amount of time.
• Candidate will help out on the casino floor with patron calls and questions when possible.
• When walking through aisle ways, Candidate should make sure all vacant, nonfixed slot seating is appropriate tucked in as close the slot machine as possible and aisle way is maintained.
• May issue a complimentary/promotional expense in accordance with the approved comp matrix.
• Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent. Slot experience preferred. One year supervisor experience is preferred.
LANGUAGE ABILITY
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operations and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively after groups of customers or employees of organization. Ability to effectively coach and counsel employees.
MATH ABILITY
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
COMPUTER SKILLS
Must possess intermediate PC skills. Microsoft Office experience required.
CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES
Must be able to obtain and maintain appropriate licensing from the Indiana Gaming Comission.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Candidate will monitor staffing levels and make adjustments as needed; coach and counsel employees; enforce all rules, service standards, policies and Indiana Gaming Commission regulations.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an associate encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The noise level is loud when on the casino floor. The employee will be exposed to smoke while on the casino floor.
